Solutions

Enough capability to solve the movement.
Not a catalogue for show.

Aegis’s initial scope is deliberately centred on non-hazardous industrial machinery and equipment. Physical transport and specialist services are performed by appointed third-party providers; Aegis coordinates the commercial and operational plan.

Industrial machineryNon-hazardous cargo focusMovement-by-movement approval
Ocean

FCL, suitable special equipment & project routing

Containerised machinery and equipment where ocean freight provides the right balance of capacity and cost.

  • Standard FCL where suitable
  • Open-top / flat-rack only after technical approval
  • Origin and destination haulage coordination
  • Port and documentation handovers
Air

Production-critical and time-sensitive freight

For urgent components or equipment where downtime, contract timing or sale completion matters more than lowest transport cost.

  • Airport-to-airport or coordinated door movements
  • Priority or consolidated options subject to route
  • Chargeable-weight and handling review
  • Final delivery coordination where confirmed
Road

UK / European collection and final delivery

Pre-carriage, onward delivery and selected point-to-point road requirements through verified haulage providers.

  • Full and part loads
  • Timed commercial collection / delivery
  • Specialist equipment only where confirmed
  • Access and loading requirements checked in advance
Support

Packing, handling & customs coordination

Supporting services are scoped only where required and available through appropriately qualified providers.

  • Export packing / crating coordination
  • Lifting or specialist handling subject to technical review
  • Customs clearance coordination through appointed specialists
  • Documentation administration where expressly quoted
Deliberate exclusion: Aegis does not currently position dangerous goods, controlled-temperature pharmaceuticals, waste, weapons/defence goods or other high-risk specialist categories as standard services. Any future specialist capability must be separately documented and approved before it is marketed or accepted.
What determines the solution

The mode comes after the requirement.

Industrial movements are shaped by more than kilometres and kilograms.

InputWhy it matters
Dimensions & weightDetermines equipment, handling, loading method, route restrictions and chargeable weight.
Equipment valueChanges risk review, security, insurance requirements and contractual exposure.
Origin / destination accessCan decide whether standard vehicles, tail lifts, cranes, permits or alternative handovers are required.
Ready / required datesDetermines whether ocean, air, road or a combination is commercially viable.
Incoterm & customs statusDefines responsibility and affects which border or local services must be included.
Commercial consequenceA failed equipment sale or factory stoppage justifies a different transport decision from ordinary replenishment freight.

Send the requirement before you choose the mode.

For machinery and equipment movements, attach a packing list, dimensions, photos or drawings to the email after generating your brief.
