Quotations and bookings

Submitting a form, email or telephone enquiry does not create a contract or booking. Any quote remains subject to its stated validity, assumptions, exclusions, provider availability and written acceptance. A movement is booked only when Aegis Freight issues or confirms written booking details.

Separate commercial or trading terms may apply to booked services. Those terms, together with the confirmed quote and booking, take priority over general website information.

Accuracy of shipment information

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including goods, packaging, dimensions, weight, value, dangerous-goods status, temperature requirements, loading conditions, access restrictions, booking slots and delivery requirements. Material errors or omissions may change the price, make performance impossible or create additional charges and risk.

Third-party transport providers

Aegis Freight does not operate its own vehicle fleet. Transport may be carried out by independent third-party providers. The identity and role of the performing provider may be reflected in booking or transport documents.

Insurance and cargo value

Do not assume that the full replacement value of goods is automatically insured. Carrier liability, freight intermediary liability and separate cargo insurance are different. High-value, fragile, controlled or unusual goods must be disclosed before quotation.

Website liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, the website is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or freedom from technical errors. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not make Aegis Freight responsible for their content.

Governing law

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or separately agreed commercial terms.
