Enquiries are not bookings

Submitting a form, sending an email, requesting a rate or receiving preliminary information does not create a booking, guarantee of capacity, insurance cover, customs appointment or obligation to perform a service.

Written confirmation

A service is confirmed only when Aegis Freight issues written confirmation identifying the agreed scope. Rates may remain subject to validity, provider availability, space, equipment, fuel, currency, customs status, cargo acceptance and stated assumptions.

Customer information

The customer is responsible for complete and accurate cargo, route, dimensions, weight, value, dangerous-goods, temperature, customs, access and timing information. Errors may change the quotation, create additional charges or prevent performance.

Third-party providers

Aegis Freight acts as a freight forwarder and may appoint third-party carriers and specialist providers. Physical and specialist services are performed by those providers under the confirmed commercial terms and applicable law.

Insurance

Cargo insurance is not automatic. It exists only where specifically requested, accepted, quoted and confirmed in writing, subject to insurer terms and accurate declared information.
